Facilitating and Inspiring Student Learning and Creativity

As outlined by New Hampshire Department of Education (2010), a teacher competent in the area of facilitating and inspiring student learning and creativity will have the ability to:

  • Use knowledge of digital tools and technology applications to facilitate experiences that advance student learning, creativity, and innovation in both face-to-face and virtual environments
  • Collaborate with other educators within the school and district to promote creative thinking and inventiveness using digital tools to engage students in real-world problem solving and learning
  • Promote student reflection using collaborative tools to reveal and clarify students’ conceptual understanding
  • Model collaborative knowledge construction to create more engaging learning experiences
